According to the police, the motive behind this incident is not clear at this stage but domestic violence may not be ruled out.

Provincial Commissioner Luitenant General Nneke Ledwaba condemned the continuous acts of gender-based violence in the Limpopo province.
Ledwaba says that citizens should consult professionals whenever faced with problems.
“Members of the community are still advised and encouraged to consult with the local professionals in case of any social-related problem, rather than resorting to violence and killing each other,” concluded General Ledwaba.
