PHALABORWA- People came in their numbers to celebrate, network and connect at the Monate Social Market, on Sunday at Mopani Country Lodge.
The first Monate Social Market created a fun atmosphere where young and old got together in a joyous mood, with food stalls, clothing stalls and music.
The founder, a 32-year-old, James Tabanira says, he wants the social market to involve growing the capital in Phalaborwa in terms of art, fashion, food and music.
Tabinara extended his gratitude to all the sponsors and all the people that made the event a success. “God is great, I just want to thank everybody who supported the idea and I would like them to know that they have contributed to an event that will help do good in our town. For now it’s back to the kitchen to try and prepare the next offering and hopefully will get sponsorship,”he expressed.
Tabanira concluded by pleading for sponsorship to make the event grow from strength to strength. “The next market will be on December 06 and the venue will be announced,” he concluded.
