Four men in Toyota Quantum kidnapped teenage girl and gang raped her at Ga-Nkwana village

GA-NKWANA – Police in Lebowakgomo are urgently seeking information leading to the arrest of four men who allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped a 16-year-old girl in Ga-Nkwana village, within the Apel policing area.

The shocking incident occurred on Wednesday night last week, as confirmed by provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba.

According to preliminary investigations, the victim was walking home from a local shop when a white Toyota Quantum with an unknown registration pulled up beside her.

Two men reportedly exited the vehicle and forcibly dragged her inside.

Colonel Ledwaba stated, “The suspects drove to nearby bushes where they took turns raping her.”

Following the horrific ordeal, the perpetrators drove the teenager back to the vicinity where she was abducted and released her before fleeing the scene.

Police have opened cases of kidnapping and four counts of rape and are actively working to identify the suspects.

“The suspects remain unidentified at this time. Police are appealing to members of the community with valuable information that can assist in their investigation to come forward,” urged Colonel Ledwaba.

Authorities are urging anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward and assist in bringing these criminals to justice.
