GA-SELWANE– Five educators from Selwane Primary School in Lulekani Circuit were injured in a car accident on Monday, 27 January 2025, when their vehicle overturned while traveling in the Phalaborwa area.
The teachers were immediately taken to a private clinic in Tzaneen, where they are currently receiving medical attention.
The exact circumstances of the accident remain unclear at this time, with authorities yet to release full details. However, the MEC for the Limpopo Department of Education, Ms. Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, expressed her concern over the incident and wished the affected educators a speedy recovery.
“The Limpopo Department of Education, through its Wellness Unit, is committed to providing support to these educators during this challenging time,” said MEC Lerule-Ramakhanya. “We will ensure that they receive all the necessary assistance to facilitate their recovery and well-being.”
