POLOKWANE: The five men who committed a business robbery at a Debbie Mouton jewellery store at Savannah Mall in Polokwane appeared in court.
The suspect’s identities are Mduduzi Zulu (30), Asanda Mhlongo (23), Goodwill Ngcobo (40), Lindokuhle Sikhosana (33), and Sifundo Chiya (28).
The accused, who are of the ages 23 and 40 were arrested in KwaZulu-Natal province in the Hilton Pietermaritzburg Policing area on Friday 19 May, by members of SAPS Limpopo Tracking Team, Limpopo Murder and Robbery, Pietermaritzburg Highway Patrol, Magma Investigations, and Security and Willie K9 Security this past weekend.
During the arrest, Police recovered some of the stolen items and a get-away vehicle grey Toyota Corolla sedan.
The suspects appeared for the first time at the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
They were all remanded in custody until 30 May 2023 for profiling and possible bail application.
