Family in need of donations after house burn to the ground in Ga-Sekororo

GA-SEKORORO- Nearly a week after the Sebashe Family house burnt down at the Willows Village in Ga-sekororo under Maruleng Municipality, about four family members affected by the fire are still struggling to rebuild their home and lives.

It is alleged that the fire started at the dining room where there is a meter box, when the electricity came back after load reduction.

They Family managed to escape by using a kitchen door and the house was burnt down without saving anything including car, clothes, ID, school uniform and books.

Family appeals for good Samaritan to rescue them especially the kids.

Estimated value of the property lost is R1 million. Mr Sebashe who lives his four children and the one who is currently doing grade 12, grade 4 still left in shocked after losing everything.

The family further alleged that the local fire and rescue service department was called but failed to arrive on the scene due to the report that their car was taken to service. The matter was then escalated to Phalaborwa fire service department for assistance.

A case has been opened at Hoedspruit police. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined..
