THOHOYANDOU – The late Lindelani Nengovhela was remembered in a memorial service held at Murangoni village in Thohoyandou on Friday.
The 33 – year old was found dead in a water-filled toilet pit at a home she shared with her husband, Livhuwani Madadzhe in Mangondi last Saturday.
Madadzhe was arrested, facing a charge of murder and his case has been postponed to the 23rd of February.
Limpopo Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba says the police and the justice department must find a way to make it difficult for victims of gender-based violence to withdraw cases against alleged perpetrators.
Nengovhela’s funeral will be held on Saturday morning.
