SESHEGO : The Economic Freedom Fighters [ EFF ] were the first to shower praise on a 21 – year old pilot.
This comes after Lethabo Malesa obtained her license to become a Commercial Pilot.
A commercial pilot licence (CPL) is a type of pilot licence that permits the holder to act as a pilot of an aircraft and be paid for their work.
Different licenses are issued for the major aircraft categories: aeroplanes, airships, balloons, gliders, gyroplanes and helicopters.
Malesa, who was born in Seshego township in Polokwane grew up with the dream of becoming a pilot and breaking the stereotypes against young African women.
She joined the EFF Pilot programme in 2020 and today she is officially a Commercial Pilot, following in the footsteps of Sfiso Mosefowa and Mamohola Hagira Makama.
