GAUTENG-In a statement, the EFF stated that it condemned the hijacking of its Head of Presidency, Commissar Vuyani Pambo. The incident allegedly happened on Monday evening , June 27.
It is reported that Pambo, his mother, and child were in transit when three masked men approached their car and demanded his vehicle and other valuables like ID, passport, and money, outside his mother’s house in Diepkloof, Soweto.
It is further reported that the incident is suspected to be premeditated with the intent of intimidation because the car was later found abandoned in the area.
Diepkloof police station is investigating the incident.
