TZANEEN- The godfather of Bolobedu music, Dr. Rackzen is in critical but stable condition at Mankweng hospital after being involved in a fatal car accident that left two people dead on R101 road on Friday night.
Reports initially falsely claimed that the musician died from the accident, however, it came to light on Saturday morning that Rackzen and an unidentified person were rushed to the hospital while his friend Morutji- born prophet, Isaac Malatji is part of the two who lost their lives.
Sources confirmed to Tzaneen Voice that Boshakga-born musician and company were travelling from Gauteng in a black BMW vehicle belonging to the acclaimed prophet Isaac.
Details of this fatal accident are still sketchy.
Rackzen is one of the local artists who revamped and popularised bolobedu local music alongside DJ Lenzo and went to release numerous songs such as “Diphala tsa Bolobedu” album that even today still keep the audience on their dancing feet and he is currently under King Monada music.
Artists such as king Monada, DJ Janisto expressed their “speedy recovery” messages to Rackzen who is fighting for his life.
