DAN VILLAGE- The Bayana family, from Dan, Lusaka village, in Greater Tzaneen who have been visiting Letaba Hospital are not happy with the service and bad treatment that they continue to receive from the hospital.

The family alleges that their father has not received the proper care from the hospital. This comes after the family visited the medical facility but was turned away for three days in a row, without getting any help.

Speaking to Tzaneen Voice, the enraged daughter Moenie Bayana said her 83-year-old father, Jonas Bayana, was involved in a car accident some years ago. As a result, he is developing some sort of cancer in his stomach according to medical reports. They have been frequenting the medical facility. Nevertheless, no help has been forthcoming thus far.

Moenie Bayana Holding drip for his Sick father

“Travelling to the hospital with my father holding the drip for him is a tedious exercise. The nurses are unsympathetic. The medical personnel are so mean and not helpful. I worry he will be neglected should he get hospital admission at that facility”. She said

Meanwhile, this publication has contacted the Department of Health spokesperson, Neil Shikwambana, and he has committed to investigate the allegations pronto.
