Department of Agriculture vehicle stolen Tzaneen

TZANEEN-Police are investigating the theft of two state vehicles which were reportedly stolen at the Department of Agriculture in Tzaneen town. The incident is reported to have happened on Friday, July 14. 

Reports indicate that the vehicles were stolen after a group of heavily armed robbers ambushed and overpowered security personnel at the department’s offices at Peace Street.

The criminals allegedly made off with 2 double-cab bakkies, 2 two-way radios, 2 cellphones and rounds of ammunition belonging to the security personnel.

MEC of Transport and Community Safety in Limpopo Florence Radzilani, has thus, pleaded with the members of the public to help the police with information that can lead to the recovery of the state’s property and to help investigate this brazen crime.
