POLOKWANE-The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Limpopo is deeply saddened by the passing of Honourable Tiny Doraine Ramathabatha Chidi, who died yesterday, August 8th, after a brief illness.
Honourable Chidi was a respected member of the Limpopo Legislature, having been elected following the 2024 national elections. She also served as the political head for the Mopani constituency.
Honourable Chidi’s political journey began in 2016 when she was elected as a councillor in Polokwane. Her tenure was marked by a strong commitment to professionalism, diligence, and an infectious enthusiasm that resonated with her colleagues and the communities she served.
Known for her readiness to tackle issues head-on, Honourable Chidi was an active and dedicated member of Team Limpopo. Her contributions to the party were invaluable, and she will be remembered for her unwavering love for the DA and her tireless work in representing her constituents.
The DA extends its deepest sympathies and condolences to Tiny’s husband, family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. Honourable Tiny Chidi’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and she will be sorely missed. May her soul rest in peace.
