BURGERSDORP- The theft of steel gates is again on the rise in Burgersdorp village under Greater Tzaneen, and residents are warned to be vigilant.
The nocturnal activities of the thieves have left many families in limbo as they are suddenly feeling exposed to yet more criminal acts as a result of the missing gates.
On Sunday morning, Sonto Tiba woke up to her front porch wide open because of the missing steel gates.

The thieves work in stealth, as none of the neighbours purported to have heard any loud noises during the robbery.
Maake Police have confirmed that a case has been opened and investigations are underway.
Meanwhile, Sonto Tiba indicated that anyone who might have information that can assist the police to locate her gate will be rewarded.
