MOKGOLOBOTO: The Sebogadi land battle saga between Kgoshi Mokgoloboto and the Nkuna Traditional Authority seems to have been settled.
This comes after the Ritavi Magistrate’s Court, on October 1st, awarded the Sebogadi land [ Farm Mohlaba’s location 567 LT] to Kgoshi Joseph Mokgoloboto.
According to the information at Tzaneen Voice’s disposal, the Nkunas failed to produce lockstands to prove that the land belongs to him.
Court further dismissed their application, although it was not speculated on whether it was with costs.
The controversial land battle took a nasty turn back in March and led to the arrest of Kgoshi Mokgoloboto, only for him to be released the following day.
The issue between the Nkuna Traditional Authority and Kgoshi Mokgoloboto was in the courts and judgement was handed down, ruling in favor of the latter.
A community meeting was then called on Sunday this past week, to announce the judgement that was handed down.
Efforts to get comments from the Nkuna Traditional Authority proved futile.
