Tzaneen lifestyle was brought to a standstill after two suspects were arrested for allegedly buying goods with fake money on Saturday afternoon.
It is alleged that the couple who were driving a white Ford Everest targeted unsuspecting Street vendors and bought food items with counterfeit money.
The suspects bought mangoes, litchis, macadamia nuts and palm tes with fake money
It is reported that one street vendor noticed that the money was fake they then followed the couple and they were caught at the Tzaneen lifestyle shopping centre.
The suspects were arrested for possession of counterfeit banknotes.
