The new R4 Billion hospital will be built near the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
Speaking to the media, Mathabatha said it will be the biggest hospital to be built in the SADC region and will not only be beneficial to the people of Limpopo.
The hospital will not only train healthcare workers and specialists but will make it possible for the health department to provide quaternary healthcare services.
