MALAMULELE– Mayor of Collins Chabane Local Municipality Cllr Shadrack Maluleke and MEC for Health Mme Phophi Ramathuba welcomed Christmas babies at Malamulele Hospital on Christmas Day.
MEC Ramathuba together with Mayor Maluleke handed over kids’ hampers and gift boxes to the 13 babies that have been successfully delivered.
MEC and Mayor welcomed the babies and expressed their delight in the fact that all the babies are well.
However, expressed concern over the high number of underage mothers.
The MEC and the Mayor have advised that all underage mothers must declare the names of responsible people for their kids before they get discharged and if the responsible people are found to be above age, police must immediately make an arrest
