SESHEGO– Chaos reigned at Capricorn TVET College when smoke engulfed the institution’s Seshego Campus building on Tuesday night.
It is alleged that students are protesting against the shortage of lecturers, and textbooks.
Some students are accusing the management of failing to send their results and registration report to Nfsas in time and that denied them their monthly allowances.
Police used rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse students who marched to the administrative offices earlier today.
An unconfirmed number of students who were shot by rubber bullets were taken to hospital.
No word has been received from Capricorn college Management so far.
