Cash-in-transit guard robbed while loading money in the ATM at Malamulele Crossing

MALAMULELE-A cash-in-transit guard is fortunate to tell his traumatic tale of events after he was robbed by 6 armed suspects while loading the cash in the ATM on Thursday, August 04.

It is alleged that at about 08:39 Fidelity  Cash Solutions Security official was about to load money into the Automatic Teller Machine  (ATM) at Malamulele Crossing in Malamulele when he was accosted by a group of about 6 men who were armed with firearms.

It is further alleged that the suspects pointed the official with firearms and robbed him of 2 canisters containing an undisclosed amount of money.

During the robbery, a firearm with ammunition belonging to the security company was also robbed.

It is reported that the suspects fired several shots before they fled the scene with a white Nissan NP 300 single cab. No one was reportedly injured during the shooting.
