POLOKWANE: One of Capricorn FM’s well-known male presenter has been taken off-air indefinitely.
This follows sexual harassment allegations against the male presenter.
The presenter, who is known to this publication, allegedly attempted to rape a female colleague at a gig in Lebowakgomo two weeks ago.
Capricorn FM’s Managing Director, James Shikwambana told Tzaneen Voice that he couldn’t say much about the matter, however, the presenter has been taken off-air.
“We unfortunately can’t comment much about the matter as it is under investigation however we can confirm that the presenter has been suspended, said Shikwambana
“Sexual harassment is a serious offence and we take these allegations very seriously hence we have decided to take internal action pending further investigations.”
The name of the presenter and victim thereof will remain withheld from the public.
