POLOKWANE : Limpopo MEC for Health, Dr Phophi Ramathuba says if Lorraine Atlang Siako receives therapy, she will be able to give more details on the crash.

Dr Ramathuba was speaking during an emotional send-off of the little girl dubbed the ‘miracle child’ at the Gateway International Airport in Polokwane.

The 8-year-old is the sole survivor in a horrific bus crash that claimed the lives of 45 people on the treacherous Ga Mmamatlakala mountain pass between Mokopane and Marken last Thursday.

Dr Ramathuba says the sole survivor only remembers being thrown out of the bus, presumably by her grandmother, Onkemetse Siako (61) who also died when the bus plunged into a ravine.

“She likes avoiding this topic but yesterday ( Tuesday) she was able to share some as she was talking to me and her mother that she just saw herself being thrown out of the window and the minute she was stopping cars on the road seeking help,” said Ramathuba
