GAVAZA-Some Burgersdorp residents embarked on a service delivery protest on Saturday morning ahead of an ANC letsema campaign.
Residents used burning tyres to block R36 Gavaza to Burgersdorp Mafarana turn off road, the community are demanding President Cyril Ramaphosa as he is coming to Nkowankowa to also come and hear their challenges of not having electricity.
The ANC Letsema campaign is expected to start today at around 9:00, the President and the provincial leadership will visit Hosi Mhlaba royal place.
Motorists are warned to take extra care to avoid accidents and damages.
Maake Police are monitoring the situation while other role players having alerted to come and rescue the situation.
