Bontle Monyela Pleads For Help

MOGAPENG – As the month of love is in full swing, one person who is in need of more love is Bontle Monyela. A 10-year-old from Mogapeng village in the Greater Tzaneen Municipality, who is suffering from Hydrocephalus.
Hydrocephalus is a build-up of fluid in the cavities deep within the brain. The condition is characterized by head enlargement in infants and it causes brain damage.
Akani Mangena, a Public Relations Consultant who hails from the same village said he was approached by the family to help in spreading the word to the public for help. Mangena took the matter to social media, with most of his friends sharing the plea, and others helping in drawing attention of potential donors and relevant departments.
Mangena told Tzaneen Voice that the condition has rendered the little girl helpless. She can’t seat properly, move, eat or do other basics like other people.
The Monyela family humbly pleads with everyone for assistance in anyway possible. She currently needs a bakkie size large wheelchair that will accommodate her head and body because the wheelchair she is using now is not conducive for her condition and subsequently makes her life more difficult.
Do you know any good Samaritan who may donate a wheelchair or you are willing to help? Please contact Conceptor Monyela on 060 826 0311 or 078 658 4420
