Bolobedu Mentally Ill Woman’s House Get Renovated

JOKONG VILLAGE – The mentally ill Jemina Sebopetsa (39), a single mother of 5 children at Jokong village is overwhelmed with joy to see her three-room renovated and furnished house. The house previously had no windows, no glasses, and no furniture, the living condition was devastating.
The Mopani District Economic Freedom Fighter, PR Councillor, Clement Ramathoka, and local businessman Desmond Lebea, successfully led a crowd-funding that afforded the mother of five a luxury and more accommodating house that she never imagined having.
EFF PR Councillor informed Tzaneen voice that, Sebopetsa’s house will be extended with a kitchen and sitting room. He further, extended gratitude to all the people who supported his vision of giving the family a dignified living condition.
Greater Tzaneen Municipality (GTM) is also committed to assisting the underprivileged family in improving their living conditions.
“The Mayor ( Maripe Mangena ) has been informed about the situation, as the municipality we are determined to assists her in receiving mental health illness grant and we have also assigned a Social Worker to the family” Greater Tzaneen Municipality Communication officer, Vutivi Makhubela said.
She further mentioned that the well being of the five children is their immediate focus.
