PHALABORWA-In a heartwarming turn of events, MSG Africa Managing Director James Shikwambana and Tsonga traditional music star and politician Benny Mayengani have reconciled after their public spat and subsequent legal battle earlier this year.
The two were seen together in Phalaborwa at the funeral of the mother of SABC Munghana Lonene presenter Nkensani Nyango.
Shikwambana reflected on the reconciliation, stating, “Nkensani Nyango is my former colleague at the public broadcaster, and she remains my colleague in the industry.
“Her husband is a close ally of Mayengani, and I also regard him as my little brother. Considering all these connections, it becomes clear that life is too short to harbor grudges.”
The picture of Shikwambana and Mayengani together symbolizes the end of their feud, as they appear to have buried the hatchet.
Their reconciliation was further highlighted by the fact that Mayengani has also mended fences with Rose Tshabalala of Munghana Lonene FM.
This event serves as a poignant reminder of the power of forgiveness and the importance of unity in the face of personal and professional conflicts.
