MORUTJI : The Police in Tzaneen Police have on Monday, confirmed the arrest of a 34-year-old Bad Company’s ring leader alongside a lead vocalist in Mohlakamosoma under Greater Letaba.
The arrest of the duo follows an alleged murder of a woman two months ago.
The popular Amadamara musician, whose identity cannot be revealed until he appears in court, allegedly shot and killed his side girlfriend in full view at Morutji village, Bolobedu South in March after the pair had an argument.
The rumour mill has it that the suspect planned for his arrest and which is the reason he came out of hiding on Sunday.
After his arrest, the Police’s Tzaneen Tracing Team (TTT) were led to the recovery of unlicensed three IOF 9MM norinco guns and one which is connected to the murder was found at his wife’s home while the other two pistols, were recovered at the disposal of his two fellow Bad Company lieutenants, who are also believed to be part of the criminal syndicate.

The Police have also revealed that three female suspects, which are the suspect’s wife, mother-in-law and his aunt were also arrested for defeating the ends of justice in attempting to conceal the murder weapon to the Relela Police.
The controversial Bad Company leader is no stranger to murder allegations ordeal, as he has been previously arrested for other related criminal charges.
The suspects are expected to appear before the Tzaneen Magistrate Court today, May 18.
