TZANEEN- Miss Limpopo junior teen hopeful Dzuniso Khensile Mhangwana firmly believes in youth empowerment as they give hope for the future and should be empowered to take up the space in society.

A 10-year-old 2024 Miss Limpopo junior semifinalist, born and bred in Sasekani Village under Greater Tzaneen Municipality, plans to empower both women and youth should she win the crown.

According to the young model, the values of women and children are not prioritised and with the crown, she plans to curb the issues faced by these two groups.

As part of intensifying her Miss Limpopo contest, the Grade 5 Meridian Combined pupil donated 140 sweets to the vulnerable kids of the Kwelobohloko Drop-in centre in Xikwambana village and donated brand new crutches to a disabled Petanenge woman.

Dzuniso has broken into the top 40 of the Miss Limpopo competition amongst 300 contestants to book her space in the 2024 competition’s semi-finals.

“Never fail to use the mirror as the mirror is a true reflection of yourself” Those are the words that the young model lives with.
