BOLOBEDU- The legal representative of Thabo Makgobola better known as ‘General Manizo’ was left dismayed and pissed after Bolobedu magistrate court postponed his client’s bail application due to unavailability of a Tsonga interpreter on Monday,June 13.
The available senior interpreter at the court, couldn’t speak Xitsonga and the magistrate presiding over the case had to postpone the bail application.
This decision has left Manizo’s legal defence attorney pissed off.
Since his arrest in May, Manizo has been making a series of brief court appearances with an intent of being granted bail, however the applications through his attorney were continuously postponed for various reasons.
The controversial bad company ring leader stands accused of murder charges after he allegedly shot and killed the 23-year-old side-lover Kgaogelo Maake in Morutji Village, Bolobedu south on March 1.
Manizo was further remanded in custody and is expected to be back in the same court on Monday,June 20, for another attempt of bail application.
