Another Nigerian arrested with drugs worth R30k in Polokwane

POLOKWANE: A 38-year-old Nigerian man is the latest suspect to be arrested for being in possession of drugs in Polokwane.

The man was arrested in the Polokwane Central Business District on Tuesday.

The suspect was spotted driving his motor vehicle, a Toyota Starlet hatchback with a Limpopo registration number, on his way out of the complex for delivery.

He was stopped and searched, and crystal meth drugs with an estimated street value of R30,000 were found hidden underneath the driver’s seat.

The suspect was then arrested, and the drugs as well as the motor vehicle valued at R80,000 were seized.

The suspect will appear before Polokwane magistrate court on Thursday, 14 September on charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
