KGAPANE-Relatives of a man who has been missing for a week have come forward seeking help to track him down. Enoch Chauke is said to have told his family when he left home on Saturday, January 6, that he was going to visit a friend who is believed to be staying in Ga-Mokwakwaila village, Bolobedu, but, has since gone awol.
According to his brother Rodney Chauke, the missing man indicated that he wouldn’t be returning home that day as he intended to sleep over at the said friend’s house.
“We last spoke to him on Saturday when he was preparing to go to Mokwakwaila village. He told us that he would sleep at a friend’s place, but, to our surprise, the friend said he never saw him when we called him to ask about my brother. We also tried to call him on his cellphone, however, a stranger answered the phone claiming to be my brother “, Chauke said.
Relatives have since attempted to trace the cellphone location and said that they have reason to believe that the signal picked up Modjadi River and Shotong village in Bolobedu.
“We humbly request the people in those villages to help us look for my brother”, Rodney pleaded.
