ANC National Youth Task Team is equal to the task of championing the interest of young people: Joy Maimela

TZANEEN- The African National Congress (ANC) National Youth Task Team (NYTT) led by young people, vows to resuscitate what was once a vibrant ANC asset to its credibility within a stringent six(6) months timeline, that Collen Maine’s administration oversaw it’s state of paralysis.
An appointed ANC national youth task team (NYTT) coordinator, Joy Maimela is confident that the task team which is dominated by it’s rightful age group is equal to the task of championing the interest of young people.
Conversing with Tzaneen Voice, Maimela said that the NYTT has suggested to the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa that they want programmes that are based on skills development and grant young people with exposure.
She further endorsed the Presidential Employment Stimulus Programme ( PESP) that has employed thousands of young people as Education assistants (EA’s) and General assistants(GA’s) at the various public schools and vows to express their strong desire to the economic development cluster to consider the continuity of the programme.
The team has warned both the president Ramaphosa and ANC Secretary, Ace Magashule that they will not be an extension factions of the current battles in the ANC.
” The era of ANC youth league being used for factional battles is gone, especially when it has nothing to do with the likelihood of the young people” ANC youth task team coordinator said.
In conclusion, the Maruleng Municipality spokesperson, Joy Maimela said that the youth league is also aiming for the implementation of the ANC 54th conference resolutions, that includes corruption,reserve bank and the land issue.
