GA-WALLY-A 20-year-old man was found hanging from a rafter at his home at Ga-Wally village in Bolobedu in Greater Letaba on Sunday.
Police and emergency services were called out to the residence at approximately 07:42.
On arrival, the man was found hanging on the roof showing no signs of life and was declared deceased.
According to his family, they found him hanging from a rafter when they woke up this morning.
A rope was tied around his neck and a chair was found beneath him in the room where he hanged himself.
The cause of the incident was not known as there was no letter found at the scene
The police confirmed that an inquest was opened and they were still investigating.
