LENYENYE- A man believed to be in his 50s was struck by a car on Thursday evening at Lenyenye after a dog chased him into the street.
It is reported that a man was walking at the side of Lenyenye main road until dogs chased him and he ran and was hit by a white Toyota Quantum.
The incident happened around 18:05, just after the total garage at Kuwait Village.
According to the eye witness, the man was lying motionless in the middle of the road when police were trying to call an ambulance.
The taxi driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, an eyewitness said.
