KGAPANE-A 10-year-old boy drowned at Shidila Lodge on Saturday, March 09 laid to rest in Kgapane.
The deceasedFentse Jones Mokumo from Itieleng section at Rapitsi Village, he was a grade 5 learner at William Kgatla Primary School.
He was described as a quiet and reserved learner who loved playing with friends.
According to the police report the deceased visited a local lodge with his family but after some time between 14:00 and 18:00, they were surprised when he was not amongst other children who were playing. They then started searching the surrounding lodge until they found the child floating on one of the swimming pools in the yard.
The Police were summoned to the scene, Limpopo Emergency Medical Services attended the scene and the boy was certified dead.
Modjadjiskloof police are investigating an inquest case and an investigation is underway.
