MAJEJE VILLAGE-The South African Police Service in Phalaborwa are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a 7-year-old boy was killed during a hit-and-run by a VW Polo on Thursday 07 April 2022 at around 07:00 in the morning along R71 road near Majeje bridge in Namakgale.
A grade 2 learner at Majeje Phulani byi hola Primary School was with her grandmother walking along the side the road when she was hit by a red VW Polo that failed to stop after the accident.
The Police and emergency services were called to the scene, upon arrival the child was critically injured and unfortunately, she was certified dead.
She was identified as Precious Kgaugelo Moshato from Majeje village. The Police have registered a case of culpable homicide.
