HENNEMAN-The owner of the two pitbulls terriers which killed a three-year-old boy in Hennenman, Free state province has been released on R300 bail by the local magistrate’s court.
Twenty-one-year-old Lebohang Pali was arrested this morning for allegedly violating the law relating to the keeping of vicious dogs. Pali was whisked away by police after angry residents threatened to attack him.
This happened after his pitbulls fatally savaged Keketso Saule on sunday morning.
It is reported that the two pitbulls escaped from the cage which was allegedly left open by the owner.They then fatally mauled a three-year-old boy.
Angry residents attacked the dogs and one of them was killed instantly. The other pitbull was taken by the SPCA.
Pali will be back in court on Wednesday.
