DAN VILLAGE-A 16-year-old ambitious Sagwati Venolia Ngobeni, from Dan Village, will represent South Africa for Miss Teen Galaxy in Europe.
Ngobeni attended Kiddy Care for preschool before transferring to Meridian Combined School for grade 1 She rose to the position of the head girl while still enrolled in grade 7 at Meridian. She transferred to Merensky High School for her eighth grade, where she was elected RCL of her class. For Grade 9, she finished and transferred to Horskool BenVoster. She is an RCL for her class and the deputy chair of the RCL committee at Hoerskool BenVoster. She is currently in grade 10.
When Sagwati enrolled in Amone Modeling Academy in 2021, she began modelling. She competed for Miss Limpopo Provincial in 2022 and advanced to the semifinals.
She competed in Miss Teen Galaxy South Africa that same year at Fairview Lodge, won, and was given the chance to represent South Africa in Europe on this platform.
“I am proud of earning the Miss Teen Galaxy SA title and being allowed to go represent South Africa overseas because this is an opportunity of a lifetime”, she said.
Sagwati continues by stating that her mother has been the biggest impact on her life up to this point. She has been a very helpful mother, helping her with planning and getting ready for appointments.
“Having a balance in your life and confidence are keys to success in modelling,” she said.
“I have learned to balance my academics and modelling. I am also disciplined and confident. I also inspire the Youth around me therefore I can say I am successful because I am a positive role model”, outlined Sagwati.
Pageant will take place in Bunsko, Bulgaria Europe from the 26th of March 2023 to the 4th of April 2023.
