LULEKANI -A family from Lulekani Township in the Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality have been left devastated after their 12-year-old son committed suicide after he was allegedly not being served his preferred meal.
According to Lulekeni Police Communication Officer Sgt Mabunda, Berry Nyathi ’s body was found by his father hanging on a washing line with a bandage same night after the altercation on Monday, April 4.
“It is alleged that his parents forced him to eat samp but instead he preferred pap and there was no pap in the house” Sgt Mabunda said

The grade 5 learner at Pondo Combined School left the house angry but the parents never though he was going to end his life.
