MALAMULELE: Ten suspects accused of attacking and robbing the Malamulele Police Station have appeared in the Malamulele Magistrate’s Court.
They are facing nearly 90 charges, including the break-in at the Malamulele Police Station in December 2021, where they reportedly stole firearms and fled with them.
Following this incident, there were numerous attacks on ATMs in areas such as Giyani, Tzaneen, Nkowankowa, Mavambe, and other locations, in which the suspects are believed to have been heavily involved.
The suspects were apprehended in various locations in 2022, with some arrested outside Giyani and others in Mpumalanga. They are expected to appear again in the Malamulele court in May 2025.
